Cancelling

Cancel anytime from Billing. You keep full access and your remaining allowance until the end of the period you already paid for; nothing renews after that. Cancelling during the 7-day trial means you are never charged.

Refunds

Understudy is sold through Paddle.com, our merchant of record, so an approved refund is issued by Paddle against the original transaction.

• First charge: refundable in full within 14 calendar days of the charge, regardless of usage.
• Renewals: an accidental renewal is refundable within 7 calendar days if that period has no used AI actions and no live mock started.
• Unused time or allowance is not prorated or redeemable for cash. Partial refunds are limited to verified service failures, decisions by Paddle, our merchant of record, or legal requirements.
• Mandatory consumer rights in your country, and the Paddle buyer terms where more favorable, always take precedence.

Request a refund by emailing support@understudyhq.com. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method; settlement timing is up to the payment provider and your bank.

After a full refund

A full refund of the current period ends paid access immediately and the account becomes read-only. You can still export or delete your account data from Settings.
